Custom-made Pirate Flag

Pirate flag (blog)-1140999

A flag for the paraw is now on its way to Palawan, having been made in a sewing shop on a military camp in Afganistan.

A fews weeks ago, Gener took some guests on his Jungle Expedition to visit the paraw construction site. Nik, a Canadian guest working in Kabul, offered to have a pirate flag stitched to Gener’s design by skilled workers on Camp Alamo.

Gener’s design includes a moro kris  and kampilan, traditional swords used by tribal people (and pirates of bygone years) in the southern Philippines.

Of course, Gener is not really a pirate, the flag is just for fun!
